Whitwell's Service Centre was established in 1956. Our business is built on excellent service, from our knowledgeable counter staff, to our expert licensed mechanics. Our auto shop is well equipped with 5 automotive lifts, a brand new, top of the line, Hunter alignment machine, as well as a new, state of the art wheel balancer and tire changer.

At Whitwell's, we are committed to providing the highest quality of service and repair. All of the services listed below are performed in house by our licensed and qualified technicians. We use up-to-date, high-tech diagnostic equipment (OBD-II Scanner), as well as high quality replacement parts (oils, filters and components) while repairing your vehicle to ensure that your vehicle is serviced and/or repaired correctly the first time.

Our Team

Meet the team that runs Whitwell's. From the front counter, to working on your car, we make sure all the work is done right the first time!

JAMIE BARKER - OWNER

Jamie is a licensed mechanic with over 30 years of experience. He started as an apprentice at Whitwell's in 1985 and eventually became a business partner in 2002.

Jamie enjoys fishing and playing hockey in his spare time and he will always greet you with a smile.

ZACH VERMEER - Licensed TECH

Zach is a licensed mechanic who started at Whitwell’s as an apprentice back in 2014. According to him, he is the "Computer Consultant" at Whitwell's.

Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, working on his house and golfing in his spare time.

Fabio Saied - Apprentice

Fabio joined our team in July 2022. He is a second year apprentice currently working towards his next level of training.

Fabio enjoys spending time with family, friends and his dog in his spare time.

SHAWN DONNELLY - Manager

Shawn is the service advisor at Whitwell's. He joined our team in July 2015 and is the familiar face you see when you walk in the door. He brings over 15 years of automotive service experience.

Shawn enjoys playing hockey and golf in his spare time. He also coach's his two son's minor soccer teams.

Ethan Giberson - Licensed Tech

Ethan is the latest edition to our team. He joined Whitwell’s in September 2022. He brings 10 years of automotive experience to our shop.

Ethan enjoys spending time with his wife and dog in his spare time.

Ted Hoadley - Detailer

Ted joined our team in March 2018. He is a licensed small engines mechanic with a love for historic cars and eye for detail. 

Ted’s spare time is often spent restoring antique tractors and time with his dog.

Emily Alpe - Service Advisor

Emily joined our team in October 2021. She brings over 7 years of service advisor experience to our team. She will always greet you with a smile and help with all your automotive needs.

Emily enjoys baking, while also spending time with family and friends in her spare time.

John Majic - Apprentice

John joined our team in March 2022. He is a first year apprentice about to start his next level of training.

John enjoys spending time with family, friends and his rabbit in his spare time.
